The firm we are hiring for has a network of 7 offices across Northern England and Scotland. They are a fast growing, well-established, and supportive company.

With an expanding client base, our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their fast-paced and forward-thinking team as a Private Client Tax Advisor.

Whilst we have provided a salary range, the salary is negotiable for the perfect candidate and will depend on your qualifications, experience and the level at which you are appointed (e.g. Advisor or Senior Advisor level).

Your new job

As a Tax Advisor, you will undertake Advisory work for your clients, IHT and succession planning, CGT planning and reporting, VAT planning, deal with HMRC enquiries, as well as dealing with complex queries and one-off assignments.

Working within the Advisory Team, you will be dealing with a range of clients from high-net-worth individuals to partnerships and limited companies, giving a varied and interesting role to the successful candidate.

About you

As well as being initiative-taking and diligent, the successful candidate must have an advanced level tax qualification, such as CTA or an accountancy qualification and experience within the sector and looking for a new career path. Excellent communication, organisational and time-management skills are essential.

To succeed, you must enjoy a challenge and be willing to work as part of a team to tight deadlines.

Salary and rewards

• Salary is negotiable but likely to be in the range: £33,000 to £50,000 per year.
