Have you got experience of selling beds? We have a career opportunity for you to join a furniture retailer in West Cumbria, either full time, part time or weekends only.
Your job will be to delight customers by helping them to choose the perfect bed for them.
Ideally you will have worked in a furniture (ideally beds) sales capacity, in the past, and you will have exceptional customer service and people skills.
Your new job
- Helping customers choose furniture
- Listening to customer needs, and asking the right questions at the right time
- Understanding customer needs, homes and lifestyles
- Recommending the right products to customers
- Maximise sales within the store
- Delivering fantastic, friendly customer service
- Completing the sale
- Facilitating sales transactions, from advising customers, right through the transaction to processing payments
- Ensuring good housekeeping; Shopfloor and storerooms are kept tidy and well organised
- Participate and embrace all training opportunities presented by the company
About you
- Experience within a similar role
- Quick learner, able to adapt to ever-changing product ranges
- A good listener, who cares about customers
- A consultative salesperson
- Can work to clear goals and targets
- Enjoys working in a team environment
- A people person
- Computer literate
- Able to close a sale
- Confident, pro-active approach to customer interaction
- Self-motivation and appreciation of the value of excellent customer service
Salary and benefits
- Starting full time salary of between £19,000 and £20,000 per year plus Commission
- Full time, part time or even weekends only!
